Personality/Background:
Nerdy, proud, loving and quite bold, can be agressive. Twilight Sparkle is still the same book loving nerd we remember, with a few exceptions. After reforming Starlight and taking her as a student, Twilight decided it was finally time to become a professor such as Celestia. Though the first weeks were hard on her, the mare decided to keep going _{(with a few complaints here and there.)} 

A few years after becoming a magic instructor, Celestia "subtly" hinted at Twilight teaching her students how to fight with and against magic. Taking her hint, the book horse decided to cash in on a favor from discord, and asked him to help in the class. Being Discord, he at first dismissed it as silly and waved it off, causing Twilight to use extensive measures to "convince" him. The lessons went smoothly for a long time, convincing Twilight to consider making Discord her full-time assistant, though when she asked he became enraged and stormed off. The next few days he failed to show up and Twilight decided to visit him at Fluttershy's cottage. Once he saw her, they immediately started arguing and eventually a fight ensued, Twilight throwing the first hit.  In the end both creatures were stopped by Fluttershy and Rainbow, who had been visiting at the time. Discord came out with only a few scratches, while Twilight earned a few scars on her face and belly.

Ever since that fight Twilight has gotten more aggressive and bold, especially to Discord. She is even quite protective of her child when in the company of Discord's son, telling him to be careful and sometimes even stay away. Though other than this nothing much has changed about her.

Relationships:
Dawn is Twilight's son and most powerful student, at least that's what his mother says. She always puts him on a pedestal, speaking highly of him and being overly protective. When it comes to her son Twilight is like an open book, speaking of each and every one of his accomplishments. Although Twilight speaks highly of him, she isn't always the best mother. The mare practically forces him to read spell and practice magic, not even allowing him to choose his friends. Even though she does all of this, Twilight deeply loves Dawn and will do anything to make him happy, well almost anything.

Twilight is still very close with the other Mane 6 members, visiting and hanging out with them. She is however slightly closer to Rarity and Aj more than the others, due only to the fact that their children are close friends with Dawn. As for Fluttershy, Twilight can be quite awkward around her, as she is Discord's wife. 
Twilight holds a nasty grudge against Discord due to the fight she started long ago. She basically tries to avoid him in anyway possible, not caring to see him in the least. Their relationship is made worst by the secrets she knows of him.

Twilight is a close as ever to Spike, sending him gifts and letters whenever he's away. The mare treats him as her second son when he visits the castle, feeding him setting up rooms for him, etc. If anything were to happen to Spike, whoever hurt him would have hell to pay.

Moondancer and Starlight are just as close to her as the Mane 6. She is extremely trusting of them, allowing Moondancer to babysit Dawn, and Starlight to train him when she can't. The two are in a way "sisters" to Twilight, always being there for her.

Flash Sentry is the father of Dawn and at once Twilight's fiancee. Similarly to Discord, Twilight doesn't want anything to do with Flash, avoiding him with each step. She despises that her son wishes to see him, changing the topic whenever he is brought up. Twilight seems to actively hate him, trying hard to ignore his letters and gifts.

Extra Facts:
- The scar on her right leg is from a spar with Spike.

- Due to too much late night reading Twilight needs to wear glasses as her eyesight is beginning to fail.

- Twilight is the shortest of the mane 6, being slightly below average height.
